At Peace Lovin Granola, we eat are always looking for new and exciting ways to incorporate healthy eating into our lives. Here are just a few ideas to get you started.

The Perfect Parfait

1 Cup   - Yogurt (unsweetened if possible)

1 Cup   - Fresh Berries

1/2 Cup - Peace Lovin Granola



It's really quite simple, yogurt first, then berries, then granola. The berries will separate the granola form the yogurt, keeping it from getting soggy. You can scoop it out or mix it all together. 

 

STEEL CUT OATS BREAKFAST:


1 cup organic steel cut oats
1 level tsp ground spice (whatever you like: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves, Chai Spice)

1 cup milk
2 cups water
1/2 cup dried cranberries
6-7 dried apricots, chopped

1/4 cup Frozen Orange Juice Conc

1/2 cup water, leaving on lowest heat.
1/4 cup ground flax meal
1/2 cup hemp hearts
1 cup chopped fresh fruit

1 cup plain full fat yoghurt

2 Tbsp Liquid Honey

1 or 2 Tbsp. soaked Chia Seed mix
 

Mix together organic steel cut oats, ground spices, and dried cranberries and apricots in a med saucepan. Then add milk and water, bring to simmer, then put lid on, turn to lowest setting, set timer for 15 minutes, and go have your shower!

Then add Frozen Orange Juice & 1/2 cup water, leaving on lowest heat.

Add ground flax meal, hemp hearts, and chopped fresh fruit.

Top each serving with plain full fat yoghurt, liquid honey and Chia Seed mix

Chia Seed Mix:

1/3 cup - Chia Seed

2 cups  - Water

Put 1/3 cup of chia seeds into a 2 cup lidded jar, fill with water and shake for a minute .. Leave for 15 mins. and you will have enough "chia jelly" for at least a week

QUINOA BREAKFAST

3/4 cup Quinoa

1 level tsp ground spice (whatever you like: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves, Chai Spice)
1 cup milk
2 cups water
1/2 cup dried cranberries
6-7 dried apricots, chopped
1/4 cup Frozen Orange Juice Conc
1/2 cup water, leaving on lowest heat.
1/4 cup ground flax meal
